Nick Holliman

Durham University

Nick is a Senior Lecturer at Durham University where his research in digital imaging covers 3D computer graphics, computer vision and visualization technologies. He specialises in interdisciplinary research investigating the theory, human factors and application of (auto-) stereoscopic 3D displays. Nick founded the Durham Visualization Laboratory in 2004 which supports these and other inter-disciplinary 3D research themes.

Hugh Garry

Hugh Garry is a Senior Interactive Producer for Creative Projects at BBC Audio and Music. He has been working for the BBC since 1996. In his role Hugh manages creative projects in the digital space with innovation at the forefront of everything he does. 

Andy Dobson

Sky Television

Born in London, and raised in the North East, Andrew Dobson is a Creative Technologist and Development Manager at Sky Creative, the internal creative agency for BSkyB.  A flash evangelist since v1, he has spearheaded the development of much of Sky’s internal rich media work, including the Sky News Digital Signage product which is seen by millions at railway stations and other sites around the UK.

Simon McKeown

Motion Disabled

Simon Mckeown is an established digital creator with a radical interest in representing disability to people in new and innovative ways. Simon was one of the earliest people to move into the digital world in the UK in 1987, working in digital animation and post-production for one of the first digital companies in the UK, Electric Image.

Simon's current work includes 'Motion Disabled' which is a digital exploration of the bodies of people who are physically different. The work uses motion capture and 3D animation to create a kinetic connection with the human form everyday virtual movements highlight all the intricacies and uniqueness of each person's physicality and the beauty of difference.
