Herb Kim has been a part of the TED community since 2006 when he was granted one of the coveted (and heavily discounted) places reserved for not for profit organisations. TED Conferences have been a huge source of inspiration for us at Codeworks. Among other things it helped to inspire our own Thinking Digital conferences. So we were very excited to learn about the new TEDx programme and that it would allow us to bring more of the TED experience to Northern England. We're very excited to bring you TEDxLiverpool, an independent TEDx event that will take place on 7th August 2009. Hosted and organised by Codeworks Enterprises, The International Centre for Digital Content and Kisky Net Media we are looking forward to delivering an inspiring session of speakers and TEDTalks videos packed full of "ideas worth spreading".
